‘From there I took drama classes. And then from about 15, there was not much else for me to do.’

He opened up about the process of getting his breakout role on Euphoria.

‘The casting process was so much fun,’ he said. ‘It was so standard, and I hadn’t had a movie come out. I was just trying to be a working actor and just went in. Call back. Call back. And then next thing I know, we were making the show.’

He described his character as ‘really just a macho college a**hole,’ adding, ‘He was abusive and drinking and yelling at people and throwing his chest around. I had no idea of the scope or the depth that was to come.

‘He’s an emotional terrorist, a narcissist, a sociopath, a freak. All those things.’
