‘Official Charts company, thank you so much, Disco has entered the charts at number one!’ she gushed.

‘I don’t know what to say, I’m lost for words. Thank you to everyone who supported this album, this campaign, it means the world to me.’

Kylie opened up about the possibility of breaking the iconic chart record in an interview last week.

‘To be on the precipice of potentially being the first solo woman to do it would be phenomenal,’ she told the Daily Telegraph

She recently discussed making Disco at her home in London while in lockdown.

She told Billboard that she had to buy her own equipment and learn how to record vocals at home to complete the album.

‘Lockdown happened, and I had to figure out how to do everything remotely,’ she explained.

‘It was very exciting to get the equipment, fire up my logical-rational brain and find the right place in the house to put it.’

‘I was dragging [around] duvets and blankets and clothes racks to make [my lounge room] good for sound,’ Kylie added.
