While Vernon is away… Tess revealed she was planning on giving their bedroom a feminine touch while Vernon is in Wales
Tess stunned in a sequinned pink top as she leaned over her embellished pillows and stylish bedding while making the most of some time on her own.
She captioned the stunning image: ‘Keeping it comfy. While @vernonkay is away I plan on piling as many cushions as I can SQUEEZE onto the bed.
‘This is the Phoebe bedlinen set from my home collection with @clarke_clarke_interiors.’
While Tess may have the bed to herself for the next few weeks, she won’t be alone in the house, as she is locked down with daughters Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 11.
House to herself: The Strictly presenter, 51, is currently alone while her partner, 46, isolates at a lavish Welsh farmhouse ahead of his debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here!
Meanwhile, her husband Vernon, 46, is currently isolating at a lavish Welsh farmhouse complete with hot tub, sprawling gardens and its very own gym as he prepares for I’m A Celebrity.
Vernon will take part in the 20th series of the long running reality show when it launches from the unfamiliar and significantly colder Gwrych Castle in North Wales on November 15th.
Taking to Instagram on Monday morning, he told fans: ‘So it’s been announced that I will be taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! I’m looking forward to it to be honest with you.
‘But, prior to going into the castle in North Wales we’ve been isolating separately in beautiful farm houses, bed and breakfasts, hotels, that kind of thing.
‘And I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in this place. It’s beautiful, little farm house in Anglesey.’
Follow me: The presenter gave fans a tour of the farmhouse on the picturesque Anglesey coast as he took to Instagram on Monday morning
The presenter also offered a worrying portent of things to come by admitting the dire Welsh weather was already starting to affect him.
He added: ‘The weathers been interesting. Hideous winds at time where I haven’t been able to sleep, apart from that it’s been great.
‘I brought my own golf net so I can practice my golf swing. Look at the Moors behind me. You get the RAF flying over pretty much every day practising their low flying skills.’
Fancy a dip? Vernon revealed a hot tub outside the property, but admitted he was yet to use it because the weather was ‘freezing’
Cosy: A log fire (L) and a wide screen TV (R) were also featured during Vernon’s guided tour on Monday morning
Giving followers a guided tour of the property, Vernon admitted ITV had spared no expense in ensuring he was comfortable ahead of his trip to Gwrych Castle later in the week.
‘We’ve got a hot tub. Can you believe it? We’ve got a hot tub. Not been in it yet because it’s freezing,’ he revealed while entering the house through a large kitchen.
He added: ‘We’re going to the living room and once again there’s a theme, there’s a theme to my lockdown quarantine. I’ve been putting. Practicing my put. I’ve been on the cycling machine while I’ve been watching TV.
‘I’ve got a games console. I’ve got an X-Box. Been playing Call Of Duty but I’m still rubbish at it. We’ve got a log fire – that’s been keeping me warm, and busy keeping it lit.’
Teeing off: The presenter revealed he was keeping himself entertained in the living room by practicing his putting skills on a small golf mat
Let’s get physical: The presenter revealed a small gym adjacent to the living room
Confirming he was alone ahead of his appearance on the show, he said: ‘I’ve been keeping busy, been doing all my washing, been keeping clean, and then upstairs we’ve got a handful of bedrooms, which is a waste of time because it’s only me in this farmhouse.’
The presenter also revealed a small gym adjacent to the living room as he urged fans to support him while making his way out through the back door.
‘I thought I’d never say this as it’s quite weird but if you can give us a vote – challenges, tasks, trials, whatever they are – if you don’t mind keeping me busy, because I like a challenge, I like a task, something to do,’ he said.
‘And I’m looking forward to meeting my fellow campmates and making some really good friends, because if what’s reported is true it seems like we have a really, really good cast. A talented bunch.
‘Crikey, singers, dancers, actors, actresses, Olympians – and me.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches at 9:00pm, ITV1 on Sunday November 15th.
