Hilaria Baldwin’s ‘quarantine bubble’ throws her a surprise baby shower

She’s pregnant in the middle of a pandemic.

But that didn’t stop Hilaria Baldwin’s ‘quarantine bubble’ from throwing her a surprise baby shower.

Hilaria, 36, shared a snap from the festivities on her Instagram account, where she revealed she was surprised her husband Alec Baldwin didn’t spill the beans.

In the photo, Alec sat at a table with a pitcher of lemonade and small pile of presents.

His daughter Carmen hovered over the neatly-wrapped presents as she beamed for the camera.

‘Thank you @VioletGaynor for being our quarantine bubble and for surprising me with this baby shower tonight,’ Hilaria wrote in the photo.

‘I can’t believe you actually pulled it off… aka I can’t believe that Alec didn’t tell me… Because we all know that he can’t keep secrets from me! So this was soooooo well done!’

Hilaria and her husband Alec Baldwin are expecting the fifth addition to their family very soon.

The couple, who married in 2012 after a year of dating, share four children together: daughter Carmen, sons Rafael, five, Leonardo, three, and Romeo, two.

Since announcing she was pregnant with her fifth child, Hilaria has been happily updating her social media channels with all things pregnancy.

From bump shots to candid messages about the difficulties of raising children in quarantine, Hilaria has been quite the open book with fans.

The pregnancy comes after a difficult time for the Baldwins, who suffered two miscarriages last year.

‘We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months,’ Hilaria wrote as she revealed her second miscarriage in 2019.

‘We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be. We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies – and we will never lose sight of this.

‘I’m really devastated right now… I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don’t know what else to say.’

Fortunately, the star became pregnant again not long later.

Hilaria said she already knew she was pregnant before even taking the test.

‘I knew right away,’ Hilaria told People. ‘I knew before I could take a test that I was pregnant. I’ve done this so many times that I really know that feeling. Even though I knew it would be early, I started taking a test every other day to kind of give myself a sense of how far along I would be. And right when I thought it would turn positive, it did!’
