Imogen Anthony and Em Davies wear $820 ‘spacesuit’ at Fashion Week

Who wore it better? Imogen Anthony and Em Davies rock the same $820 ‘spacesuit’ at Fashion Week… after it was made famous by Khloé Kardashian

It’s been the most eye-catching outfit at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week so far.

Imogen Anthony and Em Davies both rocked an $820 futuristic bodysuit by ‘future-wear’ designer Marine Serre while attending runway shows.

However, the glamorous influencers weren’t the first celebrities to rock the quirky outfit as Khloé Kardashian previously wore it in April.

The Good American founder joked at the time she was living out her ‘Avatar fantasy’ while attending a James Turrell exhibition in Los Angeles.

The bodysuit is designed to resemble fish scales, and is currently sold out on the Marine Serre website.

It retails for about AUD$820, once converted from euros.

Who’s that girl? Imogen opted to wear the facemask with the suit. The catsuit itself is from future-wear designer Marine Serre, with it designed to resemble fish scales with it currently sold out on the designer’s website

Fashion Week photographers clamoured on Wednesday to get a shot of Imogen in the outfit, which many compared to supervillain Mystique from the X-Men movies.

The ex-girlfriend of radio host Kyle Sandilands accessorised the show-stopping look with semi-transparent heels, a black handbag and wraparound sunglasses.

A day earlier, Em opted to wear the catsuit without its accompanying face mask, instead styling her hair in a Kim Kardashian-inspired long braid.

Is she the winner? Imogen certainly set tongues-wagging, as photographers clamoured to get a shot of her ensemble, which many compared to supervillain Mystique, from the X-Men franchise

Versions of the catsuit have been seen everywhere.

One of Marine Serre’s signature pieces – the the crescent moon catsuit – was worn by Beyoncé in her film Black Is King.

Ms Serre recently said the moon design has cross-cultural representations.

‘The moon for us is like an icon, an emblem, an image, a representation, a flag, a language, a metaphor, an object of what we believe in: crossing boundaries, hybridity and freedom,’ she told Dazed and Confused.
