Kim Kardashian reveals her son Saint West, five, tested positive for Covid-19 in KUWTK promo

Kim Kardashian revealed in the promo for next week’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that her son Saint West had been sickened with Covid-19.

The 40-year-old reality icon had previously been close to other family members who had contracted the illness, including her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West, and her younger sister Khloé Kardashian.

Although Saint’s diagnosis was shared in the short clip, it’s unclear if other members of Kim’s family or the larger Kardashian–Jenner clan were sickened.

Old health scare: Kim Kardashian, 40, revealed that her son Saint West, five, had contracted Covid-19 months earlier in a promo for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Kim was seen speaking on the phone to an unknown person in the clip, which aired on Sunday just after the newest episode of KUWTK.

‘Sainty just tested positive for Covid,’ Kim can be heard saying on the phone. ‘And North is saying she’s feeling sick.’

Then, in a confessional recording, Kim admits,’I’m trying not to freak anyone out, but I’m just really worried.’

Back in October, Kim opened up about Kanye West contracting Covid-19 early on in the pandemic to Grazia

‘Kanye had [Covid] way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on… It was so scary and unknown,’ she said.

‘I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help,’ she added, though its unknown if Saint or anyone else contracted the coronavirus from Kanye.

She said that Kanye found out he was sick around the same time that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson shared their Covid-19 news.

The acting couple revealed they were sick on March 11, though both have since made a full recovery.

‘I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good. It was a challenge because it was so unknown,’ she added. ‘Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time.’

Kanye first shared his diagnosis in a July 2020 interview with Forbes.

He recounted having the ‘chills’ and ‘shaking in bed,’ though it was apparently mild enough that he spend most of his time watching videos about how to overcome the illness.

In addition to Saint, Kim and Kanye share daughters North, seven, and Chicago, three, along with their son Psalm, two.

Kim’s younger sister Khloé also revealed that she had gotten Covid-19 during an earlier episode of KUWTK.

Prior to getting the test results, Kim shared her worries for her sister.

‘I mean, my gut tells me she [has Covid-19] just because she’s so sick,’ she said in the episode. ‘And that really scares me for her, ’cause I can tell that she’s now getting scared and that she’s really nervous about it.’

But everyone in the Kardashian–Jennfer circle appears to have recovered since their illnesses.
