And on Thursday, Elizabeth Hurley, 55, took to Instagram to thank the NHS as she received her second shot of the Covid-19 Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. 

The actress shared a stunning snap of herself clad in a shimmering silver hoodie, and proudly holding up a Frontline Pin.

The Royals star looked sensational with a full face of flawless make-up and her brunette locks hanging down over her shoulders. 

Elizabeth captioned her post: ‘Thank you to the NHS for my second Astra Zeneca Covid vaccine. I am very grateful. 

‘Thank you to all the courageous NHS workers who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. All my family in my age group and older are now double vaccinated.

‘All my younger family members will be registering as soon as their age groups open up. I am so looking forward to downloading proof of my vaccines from the NHS app.’

Earlier this month, Elizabeth was looking ahead to Britain’s lockdown restrictions easing further on May 17, saying it was ‘hopefully [her] last weekend at home’.

The former Royals actress donned a gold shimmering top with a plunging neckline while posing in her room.  

Liz spent the coronavirus lockdowns with her son Damien, 19, mother Angela, 80, and elder sister Kate, at their lavish £6 million mansion.   

It was recently reported that Elizabeth is set to film her own ‘at home in the country’ series with son her family at their 13-bedroom estate in Herefordshire.

A source told The Sun: ‘Liz has a huge and loyal social media following and she knows they’d love to see more of her home life. 

‘She’s also looking forward to taking part in a project with Damian. It would be great fun.’

They added: ‘Although Liz is very glam, she’s also determined to show people how hardy she is. She’s great at DIY and she loves gardening. It will be an eye-opening gander.’
