But Nick Kyrgios and his on-and-off girlfriend Chiara Passari seem to have turned over a new leaf, with the sportsman admitting on Friday his lover has inspired him to improve his game.
The 26-year-old told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I am super excited to get back on there…I am travelling with my best friend and girlfriend.’

His comments come after Chiara shared several loved-up photos of the pair on her Instagram account to celebrate the World No.55’s 26th birthday in April.
In one of the pictures, the brunette beauty cuddled Kyrgios from behind and cupped his face with her hand.
She wrote in the caption: Happy Birthday My Baby’.

Chiara then posted a picture of the lovebirds celebrating his big day with a romantic dinner. She kissed him on the cheek as they enjoyed their meal.
That same month, Kyrgios and Chiara climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Kyrgios took to Instagram to gush over his girlfriend and share photos of the romantic walk.

The couple started dating in July 2020 after the tennis star returned to his hometown of Canberra because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In February, fans speculated the couple had ended their relationship after Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed a nasty exchange of messages between the pair.

The screenshot of one text message exchange between Chiara and Kyrgios showed an emotionally charged argument.
While the context of messages sent before the screenshot was taken was unclear, the tone of those that followed – particularly from Kyrgios – portrayed a relationship clearly on the rocks.
At the time, Chiara responded to Daily Mail Australia’s request for comment with a series of claims about Kyrgios that could not be published.
