Lifetime reunites High School Musical stars and Brady Bunch stars in two Christmas movies: ‘Coming this winter!’

On Wednesday, Lifetime Television announced two new holiday films – ‘coming this winter’ – which reunite stars from High School Musical and The Brady Brunch.

In A Christmas Dance Reunion, HSM alum Monique Coleman plays an attorney reuniting with her childhood dance partner (HSM alum Corbin Bleu) at the soon-to-be-shuttered Winterleigh Resort.

Monique tweeted a funny meme of ‘how it started’ with Corbin versus ‘how it’s going’ 13 years after they played high school sweethearts in the Disney trilogy.

It certainly sparked nostalgia for HSM director and legendary choreographer Kenny Ortega, who commented: ‘What a great Christmas present for us all!’

A Christmas Dance Reunion was a family affair for director Brian Herzlinger, who co-wrote the screenplay with his wife Megan.

‘It was a dream to create and direct this Christmas DANCE movie (Yes – I said DANCE movie!) Can’t wait to share more,’ the 45-year-old filmmaker gushed.

‘[It was] one of the best experiences I’ve had with one of the best teams in front of and behind the camera, and I don’t want to spoil the fun, romance, dancing, and holiday magic in store for you!’

Blending Christmas centers on a couple played by Aaron O’Connell and Haylie Duff who spend the holiday at a resort with both bickering sides of their families.

Many of the relatives are played by actors from The Brady Brunch – Christopher Knight, Barry Williams, Susan Olsen, Mike Lookinland, Jennifer Elise Cox and Robbie Rist.

Fuller House alum Marla Sokoloff directed Blending Christmas, which also features Beth Broderick, Telma Hopkins, and Greg Evigan.
