Victoria Beckham and husband David wish her father Tony a happy birthday

Victoria Beckham and her husband David shared a number of throwback photos on social media to celebrate her father Tony’s birthday.

The Spice Girls star, 47, her other half, 46, and their children took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a number of pictures they took over the years with Victoria’s father to pay tribute to him on his big day.

In her photos, Victoria was seen posing alongside her father, while David and sons Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 16, shared similar snaps to send their well wishes. 

The three photos all feature Victoria sitting or standing next to her father, with one old image even having been taken on a previous birthday – with a cake visible. 

Writing alongside the pictures, Victoria said: ‘Happy birthday dad!!! We all love you so so much!!! Can’t wait to celebrate with you!!! Woo hoo!! kisses @jackie.adams_ (we love you too!)’.

The celebratory post was more upbeat than the one uploaded by Victoria last year, in which she lamented the national lockdown for keeping them apart. 

David, meanwhile, took to his Instagram stories to share a picture with Tony and he wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ over the image. 

Brooklyn shared a sweet picture alongside Tony as he wrote over the image: ‘Happy birthday papa xxx we all love you so so much [heart emoji] hope you have the most amazing day.’

Romeo shared a similar tribute, gushing: ‘Happy birthday papa I hope you have an amazing day can’t wait to see u love u’.

Cruz, meanwhile, opted to keep things simple as he wrote ‘Happy birthday love you’ over an image with Tony and his brother Romeo. 

Victoria, who has been married to husband David since 1999, shares a close bond with her parents and has previously admitted that she aspires to their 50-year marriage. 

It comes after David looked every inch the doting dad as he prepared sandwiches for his nine-year-old daughter Harper on Tuesday.

His wife Victoria took to her Instagram Story to show the meal that the football ace had prepared, as he even cut the sandwiches into sweet heart shapes with the white bread to make it extra special.  

The father-of-four opted for a delicious filling of ham and gherkins for her school lunch. 

Victoria sweetly captioned the snaps: ‘When daddy makes Harper’s school lunch! @davidbeckham’. 

The fashion designer shares daughter Harper with husband David as well as Romeo, Cruz, and Brooklyn. 

On Monday David shared a snap of Harper wearing a Mambacita hoodie, honouring the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

He took to Instagram to post an image of his youngest offspring wearing his tie-dye top after ‘stealing it from him’.

The snapshot showed adorable Harper smiling as she posed for the camera with the hugely popular hoodie covering her her plaited hair. 

Captioning the pic, David tagged Vanessa Bryant – the widow of late basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died alongside their daughter Gianna died in a Southern California helicopter crash back in January 2020.

David wrote: ‘Told u someone stole my hoodie,’ adding the hashtag ‘playgigisway’.

This comes more than a year after Kobe, 41, and daughter Gianna – AKA Gigi, 13 – tragically died in a helicopter accident along with seven others on January 26, 2020.

The athleisure line was launched in conjunction with New York-based brand Dannijo, by Vanessa in honour of her late daughter Gianna and husband Kobe. 

It includes tie-dye sweatshirts, sweatpants, and face masks featuring a No. 2 heart design, which is a nod to Gigi’s jersey number she wore when she played basketball.

Sales from the line benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating positive impact for underserved athletes and young women in sports 

NBA star Kobe was nicknamed the Black Mamba, and his daughter earned the nickname Mambacita as she was a fledgling basketball star in her own right at the time of her death.
