‘It’s always been my dream to promote a vacuum cleaner’: Married At First Sight’s Patrick Dwyer is thrilled with his first sponsored Instagram post

Earlier this month he followed in the footsteps of ‘wife’ Belinda Vickers by signing with a high-profile talent agency.

And Married At First Sight star Patrick Dwyer has already started capitalising on his newfound fame, flogging a vacuum cleaner in his first major sponsored Instagram post on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old personal trainer announced the venture with his trademark sense of humour, quipping, ‘From the day I was born, it was my dream to promote a vacuum cleaner and here we are!’

The newly minted reality TV star continued, ‘Dumbledore would be happy because I’m an absolute wizard around the house with this new vacuum and @belindavickers_ is shocked at how clean my house has been looking lately.’

‘If you want to clean up quickly or impress your Wife, have a crack at this beauty,’ he concluded.

The accompanying image showed Dwyer posing with the appliance in question, apparently in his apartment, while wearing shorts, socks and a hoodie.

Earlier this month, Patrick became the latest MAFS star to sign with a talent agency after appearing on this year’s season.

The Victoria native revealed he’d joined the roster of InStyle Media, in a comical post joking that he was working on his modelling poses so he could pick up sponsored work.

‘Trying to model so I can start selling protein shakes, vacuum cleaners, Covid-safe checklists and limited-edition TV remotes,’ he wrote.

He added the hashtag #MakeADreamAReality.
