Mandy Moore dons yellow dress at MTV Movie & TV Awards, three months after giving birth

Mandy Moore stuns in yellow dress at MTV Awards… as she jokes about first red carpet appearance since giving birth: ‘My boobs are about to explode!’

Mandy Moore didn’t have any issues with breastfeeding three weeks after giving birth to her son August on February 20.

But less than one month later, the This Is Us star revealed she was dealing with a ‘plugged milk duct’ that was making breastfeeding difficult.

Fast forward to the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, May 16, and the actress-singer announced her ‘boobs are about to explode,’ after attending the event at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles in a dandelion yellow gown by Altuzarra.

The first-time mom, 37, lit up the red carpet with both the vibrant dress and her beaming smile.

The number features a plunging neckline, a ruffled skirt, and nipped waistline.

She rounded out the ensemble with black strappy Jimmy Choo heels and her brunette tresses pulled back into a sleek, chic bun.

At one point, she shared the spotlight on the red carpet with her This Is Us co-star, Justin Hartley.

Moore and Hartley were also paired together during the show when they presented the Best Hero award to Anthony Mackie for The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

Having been pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent quarantines and lockdowns, the A Walk to Remember star sounded worn out from her venture out to the awards show.

‘Being out in the world for a brief moment was lovely … ready to crawl back in my bubble though,’ she shared in a brief video, seemingly shot during her ride home after the event.

‘Also my boobs are about to explode.’

She also shared a few snaps of herself in the number, including one where she thanked her style team for ‘making me feel like a glam lady for a few hours.’

And spoken like a dedicated mom, she added, ‘Now back to home to feed this baby.’

This was Moore’s first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her son August three months ago, whom she shares with husband Taylor Goldsmith, who’s the frontman for the folk rock group, Dawes.

The couple started dating in 2015 and were eventually married in November 2018.

Season five of This Is Us wraps up at the end of May. Earlier in the month, it was revealed that the series got the green light on a sixth and final season.
