‘He was useless’: Celebrity Apprentice Australia’s Lord Alan Sugar SLAMS Donald Trump’s appearance on the US version of the hit reality show… and claims Arnold Schwarzenegger was just as bad

He’s set to host the new season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, and according to Lord Alan Sugar, he’s the best the show’s ever seen.

In an interview with TV WEEK magazine on Monday, the 74-year-old British business magnate slammed Donald Trump for his role hosting the US version.

‘I’ve done the program for 15 years in the UK and I’m told that I’m the best at it. I’m much better than Donald Trump. He was useless, completely useless,’ he said.

Lord Sugar confessed he wasn’t a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger either, who took over as host of the US show in 2017, after Trump announced he was running for President.

He added: ‘Also, the other bloke, what’s his name? Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was absolutely useless, too.’

Lord Sugar is taking over from Australian businessman Mark Bouris as host of the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on Channel Nine on May 23.

He confessed he had no idea who the contestants set to appear on this year’s season were before filming the show.

‘I told them, “You might not know who I am, because you may be cocooned in your world in Australia. And the good news is, I don’t know who you are either. There’s no favouritism. I’m not going to be in awe of any of you, because I don’t know what the hell you do,”‘ he continued.

This year’s contestants include fitness trainer Michelle Bridges, radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli, and The Veronicas’ Lisa and Jess Origliasso.
