She also revealed that he popped the question while they were ‘on an island off of Florida‘ with just the two of them alone.

She said of the engagement: ‘It was intimate. Just the two of us, on an island off of Florida. No makeup, no manicure, no ring photos. It was very simple and beautiful.
For their first meet up, Bethenny said when she walked over to him ‘he had a twinkle. He came as advertised – better than advertised. He overshot the mark.’
Paul, 43, is dad to two children from his previous marriage.
They began dating in the fall of 2018, after the death of her on/off boyfriend Dennis Shields. He was found dead of a suspected overdose on August 10, 2018 in his Trump Tower apartment at age 51.

Over a month after her engagement, Bethenny confirmed the news after rumors of a proposal began in late March.
‘It felt like a strange thing to announce that just felt counterintuitive,’ Bethenny added.
On why she’s been more private with her relationship with Paul then with previous relationships: ‘In the past I’ve been in a fishbowl, but that hasn’t always worked out so great.’

Bethenny previously appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City from 1008 until 2010, then 2015 to 2019.
