Hugh Jackman sports a bandage on his ear following a skin check… after having SIX cancers removed in as many years

He’s had no less than six operations since 2013 to remove skin cancer from his face.

And Hugh Jackman urged fans to get regular skin checks in a new video posted to the Logan star’s Instagram account on Wednesday.

In the clip, the 52-year-old sported a bandage on his right ear, after having a biopsy to check for any more cancerous cells.

Showing his ear, the Academy Award nominated actor told fans, ‘I just had mine done, I just had a little biopsy, it’s pre-cancerous, it’s not much, but I’m really really glad I went.’

The self-filmed video began with Jackman strongly recommending fans get skin checks ‘regularly’.

‘I know I’ve said it before, I know I may be boring you with this, but it’s super easy to do.’

‘If you are like me and you didn’t know any better when you were young, and you didn’t wear sunscreen, and you grew up in the Australian sun, then you need to get a check up even more.’
