Married At First Sight: Jake Edwards and Booka Nile kiss in leaked video

Married At First Sight‘s Jake Edwards shared a boozy ‘three-way kiss’ with Booka Nile and another bride during a New Year’s Eve party in Perth, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.

Footage of the smooch appears to confirm Jake and Booka are more than just friends, after they previously denied they were dating.

While charity CEO Jake’s relationship with ‘wife’ Beck Zemek has been rocky from day one, fans will be surprised by Booka’s behaviour because things seem to be going well for her and ‘husband’ Brett Helling so far on the show.

Jake and Booka were friends before appearing on Married At First Sight, but they have always refuted any suggestion of a romance. 

While the video only shows Jake, 33, giving Booka, 31, a peck, sources say there was definite chemistry between them on the night. 

The heavy metal singer is believed to have split from Brett in November. Their emotional break-up will happen on the show after homestays. 

Jake and Beck made it another week in the experiment before ending things. 

According to an eyewitness, Jake jokingly kissed MAFS bride Beth Moore, then Beth kissed Booka and Jake ‘couldn’t stop himself from giving Booka a kiss’.

Jake’s ‘wife’ Beck, 27, is understood to have seen the footage after Beth, 39, shared the video on her Instagram Story.

Beck then apparently called Jake, Beth and Booka to furiously demand answers.

‘Beck was pissed off at Jake more than anything for disrespecting her in front of her friends,’ the source said, noting that they’d already broken up by New Year’s Eve. 

Daily Mail Australia understands the three-way kiss was discussed at the cast reunion, which was filmed in Sydney last month and will air at the end of the season. 

The kiss apparently took the MAFS cast by surprise, and some even speculated Jake and Booka were going to arrived for the reunion as a couple.

Jake’s trip to Perth for New Year’s Eve came after he and Beck called it quits at the final commitment ceremony.

Jake returned home to Melbourne on January 9. His fling with Booka didn’t last and he’s now dating a personal trainer from the Gold Coast called Sophie Guidolin.

When the MAFS cast descended on Sydney for the reunion last month, Jake and Beck are understood to have kept their distance. 

However, he did hang out with heavy metal singer Booka, and the pair were pictured together on several occasions – including on yacht on Sydney Harbour.

Sources close to Booka say she, Jake, Beth and Beck are now all on friendly terms as of mid-March, having moved past the New Year’s kiss. 

‘The kiss meant absolutely nothing. Rebecca was mad about it but now understands that a New Year’s kiss means nothing to some people,’ they said. 

The news comes just days after Booka insisted she was just friends with Jake.

‘If Jake and I wanted to be together, we would’ve done it in the outside world, would we not? We wouldn’t have been on Married At First Sight,’ she told Jimmy & Nath.

‘It was actually really nice to have a trusted friend [on the show] to be honest,’ she added. 

‘It was really funny because we were both working on this business idea together and we were both like, “Oh, we’ve got a few things coming up over the next couple of months, so we’ll put this on hold for a bit and we’ll reconvene.”‘
