I’m a Celebrity: Paulini shades Toni Pearen, says she’s the ‘only singer left’

I’m a Celebrity’s Paulini Curuenavuli accidentally insults Toni Pearen by saying she’s the only singer left in the jungle – even though the E Street star had a pop career in the ’90s

I’m a Celebrity‘s Paulini Curuenavuli accidentally dissed her co-star Toni Pearen on Wednesday night.

The celebrity contestants competed in a challenge which involved singing around the campsite.

Paulini, 38, told the cameras, she could win the competition as she is only singer in the jungle, despite Toni launching a hit pop music career in the 90s.

‘This is the perfect challenge for me. I feel that because I am the only singer I could probably sing everything,’  she said.

‘I always sing everything at home,’ Paulini added.

Paulini rose to fame after appearing on Australian Idol back in 2003.

She also starred as the lead in The Bodyguard musical, and was later revealed as the Spider on The Masked Singer in 2019.

Meanwhile, Toni rose to fame in the early 1990s, playing Toni Windsor on E Street from the age of 17.

She then moved on to launch a pop music career, releasing singles such as In Your Room, I Want You and Walkway Lover.

Toni appeared briefly on Home and Away in 1994, before moving to America the following year, where she lived until 2002.

After returning to Australia, Toni landed a role hosting Australia’s Funniest Home Video Show in 2003, leaving the show in January 2008.

These days, she lives away from the spotlight, running a talent school, The Talent Co, with her business partner Raelee Hill.
