SAS Australia: Josh Reynolds hits back at lying ex Arabella Del Busso

NRL player Josh Reynolds has blasted his ex-girlfriend Arabella Del Busso for downplaying her shocking deceit during their relationship as a ‘little white lie’.

The glamour model, 30, admitted for the first time on Tuesday night’s SAS Australia that she had faked multiple pregnancies and miscarriages while dating the Wests Tigers five-eighth, 31, because she was afraid he’d break up with her.

As she tearfully confessed during a mock interrogation with the DS, or directing staff, Del Busso tried to downplay her actions as a ‘little white lie here or there’ – which left Reynolds furious as he watched the show at home.

The rugby league star shared a post to his private Instagram account, which read, ‘White lies are sweet, right?’

He accompanied his pointed message with a questioning-face and baby emoji.

After being called in for interrogation on Tuesday’s episode of SAS Australia, Del Busso broke down as she spoke about faking pregnancies during her tumultuous romance with Reynolds.

She then then quit the show by requesting VW, or voluntary withdrawal.

As the DS read up on Del Busso’s past, they were horrified by what they discovered.

‘She’s apparently used 10 known aliases, false cancer treatment… digitally altered photos of herself to appear pregnant,’ they said, before branding her a ‘con woman’.

After she was sat in front of the DS in the interrogation room, the former SAS soldiers informed her that ‘the best baseline to start with is honesty, integrity and truth’.

As tears streamed down her cheeks, Del Busso spoke about her ill-fated relationship with the footballer and the ‘scrutiny’ she’d faced since their split late last year.

After meeting Reynolds on Instagram in December 2018, Del Busso had a one-night stand with the sports star before claiming she was pregnant with twins.

She later told him she’d miscarried, before claiming she was pregnant again in March 2019, only to ‘miscarry’ again.

Del Busso claimed to have been pregnant once again in June, sending her then-boyfriend a series of 12-week ultrasound scans, which she’d actually found online.

‘I told my partner that I had a pregnancy scare, and I showed it to him and said it was ours, when in fact, it wasn’t our scan at all,’ she confessed, after being pressed for the truth.

The DS asked her what prompted her to lie about the pregnancy, and Del Busso admitted the relationship was ‘coming to an end’.

‘I didn’t know how to deal with losing someone…’ she continued.

When asked if her plan was to ‘cheat the person into staying with you’, Del Busso said she just wanted ‘to try and draw him back in’.

She then started to weep uncontrollably, and said that she ‘hates’ talking about the scandal.

The DS told Del Busso that she would never be able to move forward with her life if she couldn’t be honest with herself, before having her escorted back to the camp.

‘I have told a lie, but the way that I see it, a little white lie here or there is not going to hurt anyone,’ she later admitted.

But the interrogation left her feeling exposed and vulnerable, and the following morning, Arabella announced she was quitting the series.

‘I’ve had to survive, I’ve had to make mistakes along the way to realise, “Okay, you know what, you can’t do that in life,”‘ she said.

‘But, it is what it is, I can’t take it back. It’s just a matter of moving forward now.’
